Gyajikhang Expedition (7,100m.)

Mount Gyaji.kang lies in Peri Himal north east of Manang. This expedition takes you through remote Tibetan setting villages of Nar and Phu, near to Nepal & Tibet boarder in the most northern part of Manang. For the approach to the base camp, we have to follow the popular Annapurna circuit trekking route from Besi sahar to Koto and then proceed trekking route to Nar & Phu. A very few teams have climbed this peak.

Gyajing Kang lies in Nar Phu Valley a part of Manang District. The most direct route from Kathmandu to Nar and Phu as well as Gyajing Kang Base Camp is along the Marshyangdi Rive from Besi Shahar. Travelers trek through the Himalayan foothills and round the eastern end of the Annapurna region before they arrive at Qupara. A police check post is there after half and hour before Chame which is Manang's administrative center of Manang district.
