Jumla - Rara Trek Nepal - 17 Days

Starting from: Jumla (Flight to Nepaljung & jumla)
Ending at: Jumla (Flight to Kathmandu)
Grade: ChallengingTrekking Grades
Highest access of the trek: 2,370m.
Culture: Different Community with majority of Gurungs, Magars, Chhetri, Brahamn.
Mode of trekking tour: Fully camping trek.
Himalayan sights: Api Himal 7132m, Api West 7100m, , Saipal 7031m,, Rakshya Uda 6593m, Kandey Himchuli 6227m, Buraburi 5387m and small snow capped mountains.
Most Attraction of the trek: Different Community with majority of Gurungs, Magars, Chhetri, Brahamn and Great Himalayan Landscape etc.

Trekkers can be Reach to Jumla from Nepalgunja to direct flights. At an altitude of 2370m. Jumla. This town is the starting point for route heading east into Dolpa., North Humla & West into Bajura. A few stores line the 200m. flag stoned main street but despite the presents new Kasrnali technical School on the outskirts of town, Jumla retains an atmosphere of almost total inertia. Bustling it isn’t. The culture center of the town is the flag -swathed Chandan Nath Temple, from within which can is heard bell ringing & horn blowing Pujas every afternoon. The inhabitants of Jumla are mainly high-casts Thkury & Chettrie Hindu who do not like working as porters.

There are two routes to Rara from Jumla- via Bumri to the east or Sinja to the West. The eastern route is the shorter & lower of the two, through also the more strenuous

Day 06: Newrigard - Chautha(Bulbule)

Day 08: Pina - Gadgadi
Day 09: Gadgadi - Rara lake
Day 10-11: Day hiking round rara lake
Day 12: Rara - Goru shain
Day 13: Goru shain - Shingja (Old Mall Durbar & Tripura Sundari Temple)
Day 14: Shingja - Jaljala
Day 15: Jaljala -Chere Chaur
Day 16: Chere Chaur
Day 17: Chere Chaur - Jumla
Day 18: Jumla - Nepalgunja - Kathmandu flight
Day 19: Kathmandu
Day 20: Final depature

 

Camping Trek
