Bhote Koshi River Rafting
A compact two-day whitewater programme, with the river section and suitability assessed for your group and the conditions.
Marsyangdi Valley, Nepal / Rafting
A five-day programme combining two approach days with three planned river days in the Marsyangdi Valley.

The Marsyangdi programme combines a land approach through Besisahar and the Ngadi area with a sequence of rafting stages toward the lower valley. The source outline is five days in total: two travel and preparation days followed by three planned days on the river. It is a more involved commitment than a short roadside rafting excursion.
River infrastructure and water releases can change what is possible, so the current operating section must be agreed before booking. Land transfers may replace sections affected by dams or other obstacles. The team should assess the group's experience and explain the route, camp arrangements and any portages. The historical place sequence provides context, while the confirmed river plan determines the actual paddling.
This is an outline programme. The team will confirm the route and arrangements with you, allowing for weather, access and local conditions.
The first day is a land-transfer and preparation stage, not a rafting day.
Travel to the put-in area and meet the river team.
After the equipment check and safety briefing, start the first river section.
Any section affected by dams or other river obstacles is bypassed using the agreed land transfer.
Complete the chosen river section and return by road toward Pokhara or Kathmandu.
Request an itemised quotation for your group, dates and preferred level of support. Agree the inclusions before booking travel.
The river team assesses suitability from the chosen section, water level, swimming confidence and previous experience before confirming the programme.
Accommodation: Riverside camping, with locations and equipment agreed in the quote.
Use the trip preparation guide to plan equipment, travel documents and questions for the team.
The river team considers the chosen section, water level, swimming confidence and previous experience before confirming that the programme suits the group.
No. The outline has two approach and preparation days, followed by three planned river days. Current access, dams and water releases determine the confirmed route.
