A closer look at the journey.

This extended trek links the quieter Ganesh Himal foothills with the better-known Langtang valley. The first part moves through villages, forests and grazing land toward Singla Bhanjyang, then descends toward Sertung and Gatlang. It is a varied route with long changes in elevation rather than one single mountain objective.

After reaching Syabrubesi, the programme continues up the Langtang Khola to Kyanjin Gompa before returning through the lower valley. The combination suits walkers who want village landscapes and a longer mountain journey within the same trip. Camp arrangements on the less-developed sections and lodge nights in Langtang should be specified in the quotation.

  • Ganesh Himal foothill villages
  • The Singla crossing and Gatlang approach
  • A continuation to Kyanjin Gompa
